Mathematics of Climate Seminar at the University of Minnesota resumes on Tuesday, September 3rd
The Mathematics of Climate Seminar at the University of Minnesota will resume for the fall on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Again this year, the seminar will be jointly sponsored by MCRN, the IMA, and the School of Mathematics. It will be held at the IMA in 305 Lind Hall at 11:15 (CDT) on Tuesdays. Streaming video will be available, as will a concurrent Adobe Connect session.
The first two lectures will be given by Richard McGehee on the subject "The Scientific Case for Anthropogenic Warming." As the semester progresses, the presentations will become more mathematical.
