Ross Lieb-Lappen will continue research at CRREL

This winter Ross Lieb-Lappen successfully defended his Ph.D. studying the microstructure of sea ice and how salts are transported through its brine channel network.  Upon leaving Dartmouth, he will be starting work at the US Army Corps of Engineers' Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL).  He will continue his work using x-ray micro-computed tomography to study microstructure of snow, ice, and soil systems.

Congratulations, Ross!
