Ken Golden is featured in NSF Discovery video

On November 4, 2015, NSF Discoveries released Video: Bringing mathematics to sea ice research: NSF-funded Ken Golden plays key role in better understanding sea ice changes.

Ken Golden is a founding principal investigator of MCRN.   At his home institution, the University of Utah's Department of Mathematics, Ken has mentored two MCRN Ed Lorenz postdoc-- Chris Orum and Ivan Sudakov-- as well as several other postdocs, many graduate, undergraduate and high school students.   

MCRN partially funded the 2012 Antarctic expedition aboard the Australian icebreaker Aurora Australis shown in the video.
